General Updates
- Sharing on social media sites is now super easy! Add a floating social media box that scrolls with your content by following the steps below:
- Log in to your blog’s Dashboard
- Go to the Settings > Floating Social menu item (on the left)
- In the top section (Services), select which services you would like to include in the social media box
- You can also re-order the services by dragging and dropping them
- You can explore the options
- Click ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom of the page
- That’s it!
- Some people were having issues with updating their user profile pic (avatar). This is now fixed.
- If you haven’t uploaded a profile pic, you can do so by hovering over the “God bless you, [username]” area of the admin bar (top of the screen when you’re logged in), and clicking “Edit My Profile”. From there, scroll down until you see the “Avatar” section and click the link that says “Change Avatar”.

- Logging in from a blog now takes you straight back to the blog you logged in from
- Logging out from a blog takes you back to the blog’s home page
- Added styling for the Floating Social share bar (see above)

- Added all Purpose Journal functionality
- Renamed from Chaotic Soul (this was an inherited name, but not deemed fitting for our network)
- Moved post meta info (post date, # of comments) down to the line after the title for a cleaner look

Community Feature Enhancements
Recent Posts Page
The Recent Posts page is found on the main BoW site, under the “The Community” menu.
The following updates have been made:
- Author profile pics have been enlarged
- Author display name has been added below the profile pic (you can set your profile pic in the Dashboard under the Users > Your Profile menu
- Post titles have had their character limit removed (they will no longer be truncated)
- Each post’s meta data (post title, number of comments, etc) have been reformatted as a horizontal subtitle section, to allow for greater flexibility of positioning for new types of meta data
- Each post’s blog name has been added to the meta data section
